Assessment of Phytochemical Analysis, Nutritional Composition and Antimicrobial Activity of Moringa oleifera

Moringa oleifera is a miracle plant rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and antibiotic properties. Present study was designed to evaluate various biochemical attributes of leaves flowers M. oleifera. Plant parts (leaves, flowers) oleifera, collected from different roadsides Multan district, Punjab, Pakistan, were used as experimental material. Result indicates that alkaloids, saponin, carbohydrates, fats, protein had high value the aqueous extract both Whereas phenol content methanolic contents flowers. The yield showed higher percentage (57.5%), followed by methanol lowest ethyl acetate extract. Flavonoids (33.67%) (53.71%). While crude fiber (12.40%) (15.86%). moisture (8.87%) than (7.3%) similarly, ash (52.60%) (41.84%). Ethyl extracts show antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa while shows Xanthomonas sp. Maximum growth inhibits all Aspergillus flavus, F. oxysporum, P. glabrum except for concentrated leaves. maximum glabrum, A. niger, flavus diluted Phytochemicals present moringa have significant edible commercial potential. exhibited antimicrobial activity, therefore applications pharmaceuticals.
